The Installation Assurance Authority (The IAA) is the technical authority and industry body that provides a quality assurance framework under a single compliance platform for those operating in both retrofit and new build sectors, delivering insulation, heating and renewable measures, across residential and commercial building spaces.

Membership of The IAA provides confidence to homeowners, key stakeholders and funders, that energy efficiency work is carried out to a high standard, as it is subject to a level of rigor and surveillance, that demonstrates as an industry, that we are committed to “right first time” installations.

Independent Energy Savers is proud to announce that we have become a member of The Installation Assurance Authority (The IAA).

The IAA is an approved PAS and MCS certification body for insulation, heating and renewable solutions. The IAA is the technical authority and industry body that provides a quality assurance framework under a single compliance platform to installers of domestic and commercial insulation.

Utilising The IAA’s  7 Pillars of Compliance Framework, (which are based on the latest PAS standards,) all our work is measured against this framework to make sure it is ‘Right First Time’. This means that:

  • Properties are suitable for energy efficiency measures
  • We are trained on the latest energy efficiency measures and standards and we only use approved products
  • All our installations are carried out to the highest standards
  • Any work we undertake is subject to rigorous surveillance and oversight by The IAA team
  • All our work is carried out to comply with the latest building regulations.

This helps us to add to our expertise and provide the highest level of consumer protection to homeowners and landlords.
